课程介绍:
这门课程将提供美国计算机奥林匹克竞赛铜奖级别的线上培训，这是一项被很多大学认可的竞赛并作为为国际信息学奥林匹克竞赛挑选人才的标杆。课程将会通过电脑以线上互动的形式展开，学生在课上将在老师的帮助下完成具有挑战性的例题，课后则须完成相似主题的家庭作业。学生可通过答疑时间寻求助教的帮助。这门课的目标是帮助学生在铜级获得高分并成功晋级至银级。尽管这门课中涉及的算法和[CORE 6a]中有相似的地方，但这门课程更多是关于USACO风格的题目而没有[CORE 6a]中涉及AP风格的内容。这门课程包含了一些基础的题型和算法，具体包括数组，二维数组，字符串，对象等概念的高级应用。一个典型的例子就是给定一系列奶牛的作表找出离特定点最近的奶牛。
问题格式。学生将面临来自 CCC 和 AIO 的一些竞赛问题，尽管大多数问题来自 USACO。
学生将同时为加拿大计算机竞赛 (CCC) 和澳大利亚信息学奥林匹克竞赛(AIO) 做准备，它们拥有相同的题目形式。 课程的大部分习题来自USACO，但也有一部分 CCC 和 AIO 的竞赛练习题。
